Default Desperately Need Help with m3u format

I download mp3 files, transfer from the library to the playlist, still mp3 files.

Then when I try to save it on my pc, will only save as an m3u file.

Can anyone please tell me how to fix this?

Thanks in advance

listen...take a deep breath...

the files are already saved on your computer...

GO TO YOUR SAVED FOLDER ON YOUR COMPUTER (DIRECTLY, NOT VIA LW) AND PLAY THE FILES FROM THERE!

I have, and yes, they will play, However,
when I save the m3u file to my mp3 portable player, it will not play.
That is why I want to save as an mp3 file, and cannot seem to figure it out.

you are very gracious to help, thank you.

m3u is a playlist..you save the mp3 files..the files in your saved folder are mp3 files...m3u files don't 'play', the start the playing of the mp3 files that are associated with the playlist..without mp3 files on your computer, the m3u file will not work

m3u files play?
Should they play?
The files are being saved on my pc and mp3 player as m3u files.

Heres the problem, I save the mp3 files to my pc as m3u files. (because I cannot change the file extension) it saves the file, however
When I transfer these files they are saved on my mp3 player as an
m3u file, and they will not play.

Thanks for your help!!
