Question Problem with bitzi

Having a little problem submitting files with bitzi. When I try and submit files my browser doesnt open. It shows files being processed. Shows that files were processed. But no browser opens to submit them. It used to work. Ive tried reinstall the program.

XP pro and firefox 1.8.20060.25382

On another note.

Sometimes I try and browse people who are up loading from me to see what or if anything they might have that i want. Sometimes i get a message that host could not be browsed or the brose botton is not lit up.

Why is this?

Have you tried selecting this option...
This submission should occur automatically. If it does not, you may press the "submit" button which will appear at the bottom of the page.

That's what I have to choose as it doesn't do it automatically for me...

With the browse host, it can depend if their behind firewalls and things like that...

If I am not mistaken my default web browser has to open for this "submit" botton option to work. Hence back to my original problem. My web browser isnt opening after submitting my files.

Ty for the insight on the browseing host issue tho.

It may be related to popups on firefox. Put bitzi on the exception list of firefox. http://bitzi.com/

Hmmm, have you changed anything with your browser, you might have to check to see if a firewall or something isn't blocking this site...
Do you run Peerguardian ??

Made exceptions for bitzi in both the Firefox pop-up blocker and my firewall. Still no help.

Did you try clicking on the bitzi link above to see if you could get to the site with firefox? Here is a typical bitzi report Click here

BTW whilst running LW, have you tried going to the help menu & select forum or faq, etc.? Does it work?

I can access bitzi via your link, thru bitzi look up on lw search, and thru Firefox. I can also access the forum and faq via lw. Firefox just wont open when I try to report files to bitzi when using bitcollider.

Also just install peer guardian (after you mentioned it). Neat program. Think it will be useful. Thx

Add BitCollider.exe to exceptions in your firewall. That should fix it
