Will limewire.com ever respond to my support e-mails?

I'm just wondering if anyone has recently e-mailed limewire.com with questions and received a reply. I sent two e-mails in October via the contact page on their website, and on October 30 I e-mailed my questions to service@limewire.com (also found on their website) and to date no replies.

When I used the online form on October 17 & 22, I got an auto-response stating "The LimeWire Tech Support Team has received a copy of this email. Soon you will get a response on this Issue." I did not get an auto-response when I e-mailed service@limewire.com.

Could someone from Limewire define soon please?

Also, I find it frustrating that although I paid the $18.88 fee for the Pro version, there isn't even a phone number to call for any kind of support. That is really not good business in my books, but I should have done my research before paying, so I deserve what I got.

well...since you haven't stated what the basic context of the emails was, we cannot theorize as to why you are being ignored...

If you re-read my post, I wasn't asking for anyone to theorize why I was being ignored, nor did I even say that I am being ignored. I was asking if anyone else has recently e-mailed limewire.com and received a reply.

I didn't think my post was that difficult to understand...

As for getting a response ..well the team have been much busier than usual getting a major new beta versioun up and running .... that may be the reason, but in practice, post your problem here and someone here will hopefully be able to sort it for you.

Thanks for the insight. I have been reading some of the forum threads and I think I have found what I need to answer my questions. Nevertheless, to simply not reply to e-mails that are sent through their website is inexcusable regardless of the reason. If they are going to charge money for the software and then offer support, then they should provide support without fail... or they need to at least advise the requestor as to what "soon" means.

Take care...

They have a limited support staff & with hundreds if not thousands of emails daily, they 1st need to find which are the real pro users amongst all of those. There's only 2-3 support staff afaik.

I don't have to re-read your post...I was trying to see if you had anything you wanted to get off of your chest about what your 'problem' is, which you still have not discussed..yeah, yeah, your 'stated' problem is not getting a response...response to what?...its of course your business..BUT if your email to them was 'rude' in either concept or wording, then that might be why you are being ignored...this respondant cannot guess of course as there are no clues...

anyways, you might try pming either zab or limenathan via this forum....

If that's the case, and I suspect it is, then they should at least advise people that they may need to wait a couple of weeks for a reply by updating their auto-response. The question is, how to notify them...

And who told you that? The support staff? Have you ever spoken to them?

Actually, I don't think you can even send a message through the support web page unless you enter your e-mail address. If your e-mail address isn't in their Pro database, it might not give you access to the online support form. I haven't tested it, but this would make sense...
