creating a host

Does anyone know how to set up a gnutella host? My dorm has 6346 blocked and I would like to be able to set up a host so that students on campus can search eachother's computers at least. Any help would be welcome. KathW and TruStarwarrior, I'm looking in your direction :) .

Well... on limewire 1.7x you could add an ip and push a button with connect on it. This was under connections tab. Is that it?

Maybe I should rephrase

I am looking at having a host that contains IP adresses for connecting too. (like connect3.bearshare.net). I only have a basic knowlege in networks so could help please be written in easy english. thanks in advance.
