![]() Might be a codecs issue.... You could try to use a different media player such as the free VLC player with built-in codecs which can play almost all media files without problems. You can download it from here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ As a side note, to preview files with it you'll have to open the files directly from the Incomplete folder and not via the LW preview function. If this player can't play the file, I'd recommend checking your system for possible intruders using programs of the following list: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/(free) http://www.grisoft.com(good free AVG) http://www.ewido.com(>>now called AVG Anti Spyware<< free 30 day trial -the best in my opinion) http://www.ccleaner.com/download/(free) Spybot - Search & Destroy (FREE) ![]()

![]() Get rid of the said download as it has some sort of corruption in it.. I have came across this situation more than once myself....At the moment i have some sort of corruption in my HD and cant enter that as I get the error report and close down message..But I have no idea what is causing it and don't know what to delete... Try going to Start > Search enter the title of the movie and delete it from there or if you can enter LW without a hitch delete it from there.... ![]()

![]() But having the movies in the library is it not safe enough? I thought if there is a problem with any files in the library you would get a message. What about moving the file outside Limewire ? How do you do that? Once in my document I could scan it with antivirus? Thank you |

![]() LW doesn't have any integrated protection appz by itself. To scan files you'll have to use those Security Programs that you have installed on your system (or the ones I reckoned already). As WW and I already pointed out, if the VLC player is unable to play the file, then it is most likely a corrupted file......not much to do there in that case. Besides, you can scan the files with your AVG regardless of them being kept in the Saved File Folder of LW or in your Document Folder. Just open your AVG and choose Custom Scan, then locate the file on your system and scan it.... ![]()
