For some people, burning AVI's directly to disc is not an option (unless you just want to store them or view them on your computer later). Try this: google 'DivX DVD player' and browse the results. There are many DVD players out there that play multiple file formats. You can get a DivX player from Wal-Mart for under $40. The downside? The cheaper the player, the faster it will wear out. My buddy at work told me he buys a new player every year. Have fun! Last edited by muhctekdano; December 16th, 2006 at 08:23 PM. |

My player supports divx & mpeg2, etc. & was cheaper than the "name" brands but isn't a short-life machine afaik. The electronics store had the player custom designed by their specifications & since I'm a member, get it for an even better price. A fraction of the price of name brands that claim to play all but are usually even still limited in some way ... until the next model comes out ... which is usually even still limited in some way ... until the next model comes out ... Just burn as a data disk if you have such a player & such files. I've had a 10+ hr music video dvd disk made from mpeg 4 & divx files. |
