Error report!
 

I have uninstalled limewire basic from my computer because it wasnt working properly and now i am geting a message every 30 seconds on my pc saying, 1 or more neccesary files appear to be invalid. these are generally caused by corrupt installation. Please try downloading and instaling limewire again. Does anybody know how to get rid of this without downloading limewire again because i dont use it anymore. Thanx

How did you uninstall LW? The right way is via start > all programs > LW & then choose the uninstall option. Uninstalling from add/remove programs can cause problems. You can either use the computer's search to look for any leftover LW stuff & delete, or install a new version of LW (that should remove the old version) & then uninstall the correct way.

When you say that LW wasn't working properly before, was it popping up all the time & refusing to stay closed? If that was the case, it's usually caused by a virus. Uninstalling LW in this case won't do much good because the virus remains...& can cause these annoying error popups.
