download problem

I am trying to download limewire, every thing goes fine until I get to the settings window for connection speed.after choosing speed there is no place to click ok,cancel etc. actually the window is not complete. it doesn't matter which version.

Are you using linux, windows, mac, dos, c/pm, unix, .... ?

You are trying to install LW & you get stuck at the setup step at the end is that right? Did you try rebooting after installing Java?

Yes it won't display the full window for picking speedof connection speed

Close LW down. Try these Fixes for Limewire. I would recommend removing all your Java versions using your add/remove control panel. Rebooting, reinstalling Java using only the "Offline" java installer; http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp which is about a 15 MB download. Try opening LW again after doing these things including deleting your LW prefs folder.

lord of the rings. I thank you for your help. the same thing happens on my newer laptop (dell inspiron700m. It sure looks like a glitch in the download program. by the way I even tried the new beta.

this was the problem everything is ok now
