Anyone else had any problems getting what their after??
i have for the last few months been trying off and on to get Certain movies and audio files and even tho i get a full page of results, with loads of results when i try to download them all i get is it saying, 'connecting' then need more sources'.
no matter which one off the list i choose none seem to give me what im after ,
this started getting bad a while ago with films but now it seems to be with everything, if i can manage to find a file i want it then takes days to get offten saying when 45%done (or what ever) that its either waiting in line or needs more sources , are ppl just not sharing like they used to or what ???
seems almost a waste of time trying to get anything off their anymore!!!

yeah i did see this a while ago and i also see people on here saying same thing im now saying, but at that time i was still downloading a lot of what i was after then but now its worked its way round to me and im not even bothered when searching for movies about it being a new film , i'd be happy with anything good to watch that i aint had already seems like theirs nothing out their i did try most of the advice in that post but made no differance but i did the filtering out the porn thingie on their thats a good thing was happy with that.
ANYONE GOT A GOOD FILM I CAN WATCH ON MY PC. PLEASE. lol

hi thank for that i had a look and downloded a coulpe of thing so does that mean its working ok then??
guessing i just not findin what im after. although i will say when i got people uploading from my files i search their files and can normaly get what they got but to find it when i search it is more or less usless.

There is just so much spam on Limewire that it's getting harder and harder to find the right files. Try to follow the advise in the thread I posted and remember to follow the of shot links as well. They have some info that not in the Guide itself (e.g. using Bitzi to find to download and then clicking on the magnetlink from there).

Yeah, I've noticed that there are a lot of DEAD files anymore.
When I first started using LIME WIRE,I came over from KAZAA,because of all the junk files on it. Lime wire used to be the Most awesome file sharing program out!(in my opinion)BUT Things sure do change,I haven't been on Kazaa Lately.
But the VIRUS FILLED FILES HERE ARE GETTING RIDICULOUS!
I'm savvy enough on lime wire(Been using it for a LONG time Now)that I can pretty much tell if there's a virus or a good file. But ALOT of people don't.
Look out for files of sizes 197.7,851.7,& 522.5 KB'S as these are ALL viruses,(Thank You All Who are Sharing These File's as You are Taking over the Gnutella)and soon you won't be able to find anything but viruses.
I have noticed Here Lately That I've Searched for a few things and gotten NOTHING BUT VIRUSES in the results window.
All You Virus Sharers are doing is killing the very program(website) that YOUR using to get your stuff too! before much longer NO ONE will be using it any longer in fear of viruses! so if you notice you have a virus in your shared folder Delete it so we can get what we are looking for!!! Instead of spreading them.

try with bob m arle y ('s songs), they all come - or almost - with a lot of hosts but it's impossible to download anything ("searching other hosts"), except when you choose a song with 2-3 links...
the same with olivia newton-john (and i'm almost sure there are not so many people who are looking for her songs...)

the "best fun" i had was when i downloaded INDIGENES (2006)... there are like 100 links - - - but i got FUN WITH DICK AND JANE, a recent movie with jim carrey, whose french title is BRAQUEURS AMATEURS which means AMATEUR HOLD-UP MEN huhuhu they got me

is there any way to avoid this?...

Use Peerguardian it twarts Gnutella spam. www.methlabs.org its the offical Peer Guardian site. Thx might be some help.

Peerguardian doesn't stop spam, it's stops organisations from passing through and seeing into your comp whilst using P2P...
