Angry Two is my maximum

I don't know what happened but it seems that Limewire has reduced me from 8 to 2 sources for my maximum. I don't know why but it happened all of a sudden. It is frustrating, I have even reinstalled it with the same thing happening.

1. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) & try again with LW.

2. You seem to have a firewall problem for a start. Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link). Thus disable XP firewall.

3. Find a 2Wire device similar to yours here http://portforward.com/routers.htm in far left column.

On a couple of occasions this has happened because the speed setting in Limewire>tools>options>speed ( or download??) has somehow changed to "modem" so that might be worth checking first ..probably too late
