Default Paid twice for Limewire and can't get anyones attention

I have tried, in vain to contact Limewire because I was billed twice for Limewire. PayPal refuses to help, and the bank said since the charge was less than $50 there is nothing they can do the get the money back. Does anyone know how to get Limewire's attention??

How much did you pay ??
What site did you purchase from ??

I purchased from the Limewire site for $18.88.

Originally used a credit card and the site said the charge was denied. The page suggested I use Pay Pal. So I did. The next thing I know, PayPal has charged my account and there is a pending payment on the "denied" credit card.

I wrote to Limewire and received nothing but the automated response.....

Just a quick note - when you get a message telling you that the transaction was declined it says this:

"WARNING TO DEBIT & CREDIT CARDHOLDERS:

Please limit your purchase attempts. Every time you attempt to make a purchase, your bank temporarily puts the purchase amount on hold. It can take your bank 3-5 days to unblock access to credit card funds, and 5-10 days to unblock access to debit card funds."
So be patient!

u could have gone to your e-mail and clicked on your purchase confirmation and it would have allowed you to reinstall LW pro. I suggest you email limewire.

Same thing happened to me. You need to go back to you bank and get freud paper and contact limewire and tell the you are going to take the paper to the police dept. and file charges if they do not refund your money. The same thing happened to me and they had my money in the bank that evening. The bank can not refuse you freud papers to file even if its a dollar it came out of your account. Thats your money and you did not give limewire promission to take it out twice did you ? I you would like to ask me anymore question just email me .

Well here's someone who doesn't read previous posts. I guess you'd sue your mother for not paying back money she borrowed within the period she said. The question has already been answered before both here & elsewhere on the forums. It takes LW time & at their own cost to fix these payment errors. And what a nice fellow you seem to be. 1. Accidental repeat charges A (click on link), & also 2. Accidental repeat charges B (click on link) where those transactions are automatically voided.
