![]() Ok... On Dec. 5, 2003, I paid for Limewire Pro. I have had no problem up to now. It disappeared. I no longer have Limewire Pro and I can't figure out why this has happened. For support, I entered my email address I used to purchase LimeWire PRO: and received the message: "You email address is not a valid LimeWire PRO email. Try again with a different email address" I know that my email address is the one I used to pay for Limewire Pro. I have the original email from Limewire showing how I could "complete my registration, please visit this url:". I went to that site, entered my email address once again, and again, it replies that my email address is not valid. How can I resolve this problem? Thankyou ![]() ![]() |

![]() When you buy LW Pro from the official site www.limewire.com (was this where you went to purchase Pro? You could've been redirected to the official site for download after paying a scammer...it happens) you're covered for free updates & email support for 6 months. After 6 months you have the option to buy again at a reduced price. Your Pro's is way out of date. Who did you actually pay for Pro & did you buy some 'lifetime membership' thing? |

![]() Hi Birdy: I'm mistaken on the year I began LW Pro. It was Dec. 5, 2005. The payment was directed to: Lime Wire LLC. Do the free updates and email support come through the email address I signed up with? If so, I had not received any. It was just within the last month that Pro seemed to have disappeared from my LimeWire. I was under the impression that this was a one time payment and if we chose to receive the updates and email support, we were to pay a fee. Since I never receiver neither, I never payed attention to the blurb about paying a reduced price. So, you are saying that a person has to continually pay LimeWire every 6 months to receive Pro? Thankyou for your reply. |

![]() If you buy Pro & want updates, you have to check with the LW site to see if updates are available & then download them. Email support is available if & when it's needed during the 6 month period by going to http://www.limewire.com/english/content/support.shtml & clicking the 'get support by email' link. It's up to the user to save & back up their Pro installers (just as you would for other programs, in case the computer crashes etc)...once you've downloaded a Pro installer & saved it it's yours to use forever if you like ![]() But...after the 6 months has elapsed you'll no longer be able to download free Pro updates. If you decline the offer of the new subscription at a discount, you'll have to buy Pro all over again if you decide you want to update later. So it is a one time payment, but you pay once for any installers you might download & any support you might get during the 6 month period. |

![]() Where do you lot get your downloads from then, any good mirror sites? By the way, anyone here give their address when paying by card. I mean you know what we do once we download it so, do you think it's a good idea if you want the Pro version? |

Try doing a search for LimeWire.exe and click on it to see if it works. If it does.... To recreate a shortcut in Windows the default folder is C:\Program Files\LimeWire If you find it, right click and choose MAKE SHORTCUT. It will be created in the same folder. Right click on it and choose SEND TO then DESKTOP |
