I think your the one trying to scam me!! What the hell are you people so evasive about giving out a phone number for? I didnt buy anything from a scam site unless of course your admitting that Limewire in and of itself is the scam. You must have some kind of customer service number that people can call in questions to, call me old fashioned, I like to actually talk to a human being when I have a problem. And how is it that you can tell me Limewire cant help me when its limewire Im having the problem with?

You said that you paid $49.00 for LW...therefore, you didn't buy from the official site & so you must've bought from a scam site.

So you see...the guys at LW can't help with versions of LW that were not bought from the official site.

People who do buy from the official site are entitled to email support & free upgrades for 6 months. Six months. I don't work for LW, but afaik there's no customer support phone number. Even if there was, it wouldn't do you any good because you didn't pay LW for your version. You paid someone else, a scammer. Not LimeWire.

Get over it my ***, I said in my original post that I paid 49.00 TOTAL. I paid the normal 18.00 fee, but a short time later I paid for un upgrade Turbo or something like that because it was so slow. I also said that I thought the total was 49.00, I'm not positive the EXACT dollar amount. The point being that I bought it through the normal limewire service and not a scam. All I was asking from you all was for some help not some lazy way out cookie cutter answer. Obviously asking that was asking for too much. As far as there being no telephone number, give me a break.

LW basic is free.You don't have to pay for that. It costs nothing.

LW Pro costs $18.88. LW Pro is the one that gives you a turbocharged connection. There is no upgrade from there. None. Zero. The most that you will ever pay for LW Pro (the turbo one) from the official site is $18.88. No more than that. Not one cent more. Ever.

If you paid $49.00 in total, or $40.00, or $45.00, or $37.00, or any amount greater than $18.88 then you were scammed. You paid someone else for your version of LW. You didn't buy from the official site.

Whatever, you win...I was scammed You'll understand my confusion I hope. If I was scammed I wouldnt expect to receive service for the last two years with no problem. In my way of thinking if I was scammed they would have taken my money and I would have received nothing in return, that was not the case. I still do not understand however if I was scammed that evrything about my service was identical to a "normal" limewire subscriber. Also, as I stated earlier, I guess I am just stuck in the dark ages I simply like to speak to a human being to resolve an issue, but anyway, whatever, I was scammed.

If you have so much faith in the people you bought LW from then you should be able to go back to them for your "lifetime" service (or whatever you paid your money for).

However, you did not pay your money to the LW Org. and so you are not entitled to anything from them. Which, if you think about it, is quite reasonable because they only charge $18.88 for LW Pro so why should they dilute their profit margin by supporting the stolen or pirated copy of LW which you bought?
