this one file wont let me delete it, it must die!

A single song that I downloaded wont let me delete it. It says ERROR-********** cannot be deleted ,it my be in use in another application. So how do I delete it.

open programs

try closing limewire and any other music program you may have open, then deleting it from the harddrive through your OS (windows/linux/macOS).
