Question Limewire Peer Server and metasearch

What do you think about the Limewire peer server?
Is it an interesting new road for peer 2 peer networking?
Others will follow?
Or just an easy way to set up Tomcat+Poolman+JDBC access to Mysql or other db's?

Another great step forward IMHO! We still haven't discovered/realised the real potential of Gnutella and distributed networks IMHO.

The server is a great idea! And I'm working on a server too actually. It will be very useful for distro sites, but I know of several scenarios where it would be helpful in "closed" Gnutella networks such as a corporation.

Hi, I agree that it will be a reat improvement, but have you tried to use it? I've installed it but the docs are very poor!
- cultiv8r is it possible to take a look at your server? Or it will be closed source?
Thanks

I've got a number of clients lined up for release. Unfortunately, none of them are public just yet, just for a select few users. Its done this way to 1) keep it a nice surprise 2) ensure that I'm not going to release something that might affect the GNet in a bad way. I'll keep you posted, or you can visit www.cultiv8r.com to see if anything has happened yet

Thanks, I'll look at your site quite often!
Maybe I'll email you, if you don't mind.
