Cusomer Service Reply
=====================================
LimeWire is software that allows users to connect directly to other users'
computers, via the Gnutella network, and share files with them. It is not a
music service, we do not have any members, nor do we make any such indication, anywhere on our website.

We have no foreknowledge of, nor control over, what users decide to share over the Gnutella network, we do not place any files on the network for users to download, nor do we make any guarantee that you will find the files you are searching for.

Firewalls are not the cause of every LimeWire issue. "Need more sources" is
already addressed in our FAQ:
http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...faq.shtml#dow1

Please provide a clear, detailed description of your problem, so I can better
assist you. In addition, if you are getting an error message, you will need to
include it in your response, exactly as it appears on your screen, as well as
the exact moment at which you received the message. To learn about peer-to-peer filesharing, and the Gnutella network, please visit:

thank you for the totally unrelated response. If you actually took the time to read my question you would see that it has to do wiht viruses and sueing, neither of which were adressed in your off topic response. also i have no problems wiht downloading files and have not yet downloaded a virus. im just wondering what if?

How can you get a Virus from L/W when L/W dosent have any files to download L/W is just the means for you to connect to others, so if your stupid enough, you may download a virus from other people, But not from L/W Just stay away from exe, zip, rar files and you should be fine
If you folowed the links it says clearly L/W is not responsible for what U chose to D/L from others.
Peace.

Actually it has everything to do with your question. If you do download a virus and wish to sue for your ineptness go for it. I am sure there are allot of attorneys out there that would be very glad to take your money. LimeWire does not download the Virus you do. If you would have read the post and links provided you would have figured it out.

mickjapa108, Grandpa

Bert5412 is not interested in a sensible answer and so did not really asked the question he wanted to, he just wants someone or something to sue. He is on a "Get Rich Quick" crusade.
