 Ad removal You can disable CyDoor with this file , etraxt it into /Windows/System/ and overwrite the existing one . The place were the ads used to be will still be there but it will just be a grey empty square . CyDoor won't be of your system but it will effectively be neutered .  Pop up's and spyware If you are concerned about spyware and pop up advertisments download Ad-Aware (free) from www.lavasoftusa.com. You have no idea the amount of hidden spyware placed on your computer every day some of the nastier ones are in your registry. Each one of these spyware programs uses up resources on your computer making it slower and slower.... go get Ad-Aware and while you are at it download a free firewall like ZoneAlarm as well. And yes you can use a firewall and still share your media files! |
