ebee566, If you've changed the skin, try changing it back to the default one.

ya the problem is weird maybe its cuz we use 10.2.8 version i onno, where is the help?

artog,

By dialup he means can you connect through your phone line without going through your router.

Sorry but I'm not a mac person and am not much help:(.

You won't lose limewire by deleting your preferences folder. It'll just cause LW to reinstall the pref folder, kinda like hitting the reset button. Sometimes that's all it takes to get it to work right.

ooooo well no i dont have phone line thing to connect with, but ill try to delete the pref folder right now then n see wut happens.

artog March 15th, 2007 11:54 PM

well guys i deleted my pref folder and then i clicked on limewire which led me to a reinstallment of limewire but when i tried searching the problem was still there sooooo ya lol need help still....

the only time I had that problem I realized I was not connected. Even if you have high-speed internet where you are always connected online you still might be disconnected from the Limewire network. Just click on File on the top left of your Limewire program screen and see if you are connected or disconnected. Hope that helps...take it easy

artog March 16th, 2007 11:23 PM

ya man ive tried that before and i am always connected because the thing searches and finds stuff but just doesnt show up .

So....no one knows how to fix this? Is there another way to get help for this or are we officially stuck?

enginnheima March 18th, 2007 08:36 AM

Go to: view - apply skin - black theme

Should fix the problem...

I think it's a java related problem. Since you have MacOS 10.2.8 you might not have the newest java updates...

Regards.

OH MY GOODNESS! it worked- thank you SO SO much. on a side note- should I try and get my java updated? whenever i run software updates, java stuff never comes up to be updated....
anyways- thanks again, made my day. :)
