Greek characters in Limewire hello all. can someone help me with this? When I do a search using greek chars nothing no results can be found. But I can see that Limewire understands greek but cannot search for them. Is this supposed to be right? Thanx |

You can change the language that Limewire displays to Greek, or any other language of your choice, by going to View > Change Language & it will display the language that you choose, after restarting Limewire. Using Greek characters or using the Language Bar in Microsoft Office may not really work, (I got very few myself, but results were not in Greek & I haven't tried other languages) probably because most, if not all, of the files are tagged using English. More specifically I believe that when files are initially ripped into someones computer, the programs that are used to tag or name the files are using English. I guess English is more or less a universal language in these type of situations. Even if I search/download Greek songs in Limewire or even, lets say, Rapidshare the search & subsequent results are English. As I said earlier, I've never tried another language. |
