Downloading **, problems? In the past I've had no problems d/l ing episodes of [edit]but for the past few weeks I have been unable to d/l any at all. Lots appear on searches and when I click on download Limewire gives the usual "connecting" message but then, without fail gives "more sources needed". This happens on every source even though Limewire might say there are 50 feed sources. I have no problem d/l ing any other files, only [edit] so it's not a firewall or ISP block? Has anyone else had this issue? If so have you resolved it and how? Otherwise does anyone have any suggestions please? Thanks. Hi, thanks for replying. None of the files I'm trying to d/l are known by Bitpedia, but then none of the one I've d/l'd in the past were either . I've tried re-downloading episodes I've d/l'd before and no joy. The problem seems specific to [edit], I've test d/l'd all sorts of other files and all are OK, it's just [edit] Pete please stop naming the file... |

Same problem Curious to know the solution on this query also, as having the exact same issue?? One question though when you try to d/l said file are you able to browse the host? because I am unable to, whereas other files that can be downloaded, allow me to browse the host |

No you can't browse those files because they would be fake... The popular files, like the ones that where metioned above would definatley be rated on Bitzi... Fake files showing up in search results Peer-to-peer poisoners: A tour of MediaDefender

so you cannot be blocked from other users? I naturally assumed that beacuse you cannot browse host on selected d/ls that are continually saying it is connecting.... but not changing to "queued" or "downloading from2 hosts" that this may have something to do with restrictions imposed by the various hosts?. So you believe the issue relates to the authenticity of the d/l or whether it is fake? Cheers |

What I'm saying is that you have to be connected to the hosts to be able to browse their files and with the fake files you never connect because there are no files... But... You cannot always browse hosts that you do connect to as sometimes it's their set up that stops you, for instance if they are behind a firewall or if they do not have the chat feature enabled...

Hi, I hope I'm at the right place, this just started happening, and for some reason only with 1 movie I've been searching for. For some reason, when I look for certain movie (wasn't sure I could name it seeing the previous posts having edited out names), I end up with over 7000 results, and none ever download. Seems like I'm doing something wrong. One other thing, I stopped using LW for a while, and when I came back, it seems like I get ALOT of results involving advertizements or weird clips (for example almost every search I do returns something called CAT VS BABY), and it just seems alot different. |
