If you download any zipped programs check the content before unzipping. If there is only 1 file called "Setup" please, please DELETE IT! I didnt and now every mpeg file on my computer has been replaced with this file. I ran virus scan as always on it and it showed nothing. I now have to reset my hard drive. :yikes:

I just don't dowload any zip or rar files, that's the safest way to do it right?

The only AV that I know of to get rid of this virus is AVG, it is free...So if you aren't running that AV the best thing to do is disable the one you have and download AVG, scan your computer, get rid of the virus and then you can unistall AVG and make your normal AV active again...

With zipfiles you just need to scan them (Usually) with your AV but with the file I have here it dosent make any difference! Used the AVG thing and it seems to have worked but I have lost a lot of stuff :bangh:

Uhhh yeah, I think I just wont be DLing any zip or rar files.
