Default I can't find a certain song.

I am sure it's a song from a certain 60s group, but the trouble is that even though I found what I believe is the name of the song, I can't find it on LW.

I still think it's [group name here], but all I have to go on is a few notes toward the end of the song. And until recently, I haven't had much success in getting the name of the song. The notes go like this at the end: Bb CC G Eb FF Bb CC G EbEbEb FF. It repeats over and over at the end, but that's all I remember of the song.

If you think you have an idea of the group name try a Google search & see if you can come up with anything. Or try calling a local light rock or oldies radio station & see if somone can help you out there.

The song I'm after has been broadcast several times on an oldies radio station but my main pet peeve with this radio station is that the DJs NEVER tell me the name of the song (or if they do, they rattle it off so fast that I can't catch it-one thing you NEVER want to do to someone who has a hearing loss). By the way, I DID call the radio station, but all I got was a busy signal. I tell you, I've never known a radio station to be so busy that someone can't answer the phone and tell me the name of a song. That just peeves me to my very core.

I've been there, but I grew up listening and playing oldies music (records/albums) and once in a while, my mind goes blank on the name of the song or the artist name. I ponder on it for a while, cuz I know no matter who I talk to, they have no clue what I'm talking about. Eventually, I figure it out. It's a memory thing, cuz I can relate to a certain song's release time, certain song lyrics, and often can remember the color/design of the record label, which helps me remember what I'm looking for. I'm a nut about one-hit-wonders myself! Weird, but I miss all those 45s! Admittedly, I have two songs I'm pondering now, what the name/artist is. I think I'll find them. I've only had one song so far that it seems no other P2P sharer has on Limewire. I found it on another share site, but I have since cancelled my registration with them for other reasons. Darn.

Speaking of the aforementioned notes, I DID call the radio station AGAIN, and I was able to come up with a song title and a group name. So I now have the song I've been after.

Oh, that happens. You try getting a song and for whatever reason, you can't. I just happen to be one of these people who won't give up until I get the song I'm after, no matter what it is. I just thought it was by one group, when it's by a different group. That's what threw me for a proverbial flying loop. And this gets me more times than not-even though I know notes, I can only remember a few at a time and I've heard HUNDREDS of songs in my lifetime, anything from Big Band music to modern-day rock (despite being hearing-impaired).
