What the hell?? (number of hosts for downloading)

I'm trying to download something and this is really bothering me.
as all of you know, you can't download anything quickly without a bunch of other people, which I look for because it's just easier when there are a ton of other people sharing it as well.
I can't seem to figure this out though: when I download something interesting to watch, not all of the entities out there with this episode/movie to share are listed as hosts when I am downloading the movie. for example, right now I am downloading something and it is listing only 10 hosts, of the 16 available, so this download ****** is not going as quickly as it could be.
anyway, WHY AREN'T ALL THE HOSTS THERE TO HELP OUT? It is really annoying. I mean, if you are listed as "sharing" you should be sharing, right?
is there any way to make these episodes download with all the hosts being available for you?

I'm not sure, I would say it's because not all 16 hosts are 'on line' at that time! I certainly do not keep Limewire or my computer running when I'm gone to work or somewhere. In fact, I unplug my DSL every time too, just to keep hackers out! I have tried to warn ppl getting uploads from me that I'm logging off and will be back the next day. But most ppl have their 'chat' option turned off. I know it took one person about five days to get one particular upload from me!

Because you have LW basic & a T3 connection, or LW Pro & a cable/dsl connection?

If you have basic with a T3 connection, the max is 10 hosts. LW Pro will give you a couple more hosts if you have a cable/dsl...10, or 14 with a T3 connection.

The host limits are set to avoid network congestion, huge queues & make sure that everyone, with their different connection speeds, can download successfully.
