Chat problems I have been having problems finding certain songs, and I would like to chat with other members and maybe find the song. For example, I searched for ****** **** to find a rarely displayed song, "****** ***** ****", and when I tried right-clicking, the "chat with host" selection is always grayed out. My chat is enabled. What am I doing wrong? Last edited by 6_pac; February 4th, 2008 at 12:15 PM. |

I think you have to highlight an actual IP address, as when you've done a search and found some files. You have to have someone to chat *with*, before you can chat. Also, both of you must have "chat" capability, which I think you need the Pro version to get. If I am incorrect, I've no doubt someone will step in and correct me ;-) Pam |

As TruStar said, the chat feature is aviaiable in all versions. You can only chat with someone, however, if both they have chat enabled and you have chat enabled. The chat option is grayed-out when either you do not have chat enabled or the person you are trying to chat with does not have chat enabled. Thanks. |
