![]() WMA files are not necessarily closer to CD quality. YOUR computer rips CDs to WMA files because you are using Windows Media Player. If you were using a different program, the default file type could just as easily be mp3. Perhaps a better indication of the quality of a file is how large it is. The higher the quality (in general) the larger the file size. The bitrate should correlate directly with file size (i.e. the higher the bitrate, the larger the size). Good Luck ![]() Dano P.S.
