Default Don't believe my log in, I'm frustrated beyond belief!

I can dowload a video from limewire and watch it on my windows media player with no problem. The problem comes when I try to burn it to a cd. Windows media says it's inspected it, but says the file is unsupported when I try to burn it. Same with Real player. The movie is downloaded in an Xvid file, I figured that out so I downloaded Xvid2dvd program, but it says I have to pick an audio stream and there are no audio streams to pick! I'm new to all of this, already have put in over 15 frustrating hours in ways to burn this dvd, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Creating DVDs is an art that takes much practice (and frustration ). I don't know if WMP will even burn DVDs. I've never tried. I've only used it to burn CDs. You could try Nero. That's what I use. It comes with a free trial and will burn DVDs.

Nero 7 [Nero 7 Trial]

Before you burn your DVD, however, have you checked the quality of the movie you created? Many simple programs (I'm not familiar with XviD2DVD) don't output very good quality (for my taste). If it doesn't look good on your computer, it won't look good on your T.V.!

Good Luck

Dan

Default found a great program

thank you for your input, however I decided to call in sick today and still keep banging my head against the wall to find a simple way to convert my newly downloaded video from Limewire, that is in some kind of Xvid format to dvd format to burn. Well, I came across AVI to DVD Video Converter Software VSO ConvertXtoDVD and tried their trial! It worked so easily!! I was able to add my file from the browser, then it took about 37 minutes to convert the file, then the most neatest thing happened! It told me to insert a dvd-rw into my computer and it immediately formatted my dvd and then burned the dvd with no audio problems, no streaming problems, no PROBLEMS!! I burned the dvd, ran inside the house (I'm all setup in the garage!) and immediately played my video on my panasonic dvd player that I got at Circut City and it doesn't have any bells or whistles on it! Everything came out great! The free trial burns a message like "this is a free trial, to remove this message, buy the program" Which I have now purchased it for about $40 bucks and will re burn the video. This worked awesome for me! Now, I have one other problem, I want to download video's to another computer I have to free up this space, I downloaded Limewire Pro and I am all connected and everything, but when I find a video I want to download and click download, it just says "connecting" at the bottom and never does anything else until it says "more sources need to be found" even if there are 88 people sharing it then. Guess I'll have fun figuring that one out also, I can always call in sick again tomorrow!

Sorry to break it to you guys, but some of our older Windows XP computers that come with CD burners DO NOT come with DVD burners or the program that enables it. Therefore, we have to have a DVD burner and the program to enable it, or buy ourselves a brand-new computer that already has the DVD burner and the program to go with it.

success123 - you don't sound very sick to me

I'm glad you found a program that works well for you. The search results that just won't download and have many sources are probably fake files. They are getting more and more common. Check video files with Bitzi.
