WHY is the limewire app a rip off...All it does is connect you to other people computers just like yours, it has no control over what people share or what you choose to download...

It makes promises it can't keep. It seems a little strange there are a great many others unhappy with the software, but only a very few defending its quality. All the p2p sites I have ever been on the owner of the site monitors the files and individuals who post them and remove the junk and the people who are responsible.

Thunder, Limewire makes no promises of any kind. If you were so happy with the "OTHER P2P SITES" that supposedly monitored everything and everybody, WHY are YOU here. I have had Limewire for over a year and I wouldnt go any where else. So you spent 18.88 by what you said in an earlier post, WHO cares!! That will get you about 6 gallons of gas. SO what. If you cant figure it out then go away!!!!!!

Oi, yobbo !!!

Lived in the disUnited Kingdom, on and off, 'tween 1968 - 1992... not all that time but a total of 14 years...
Remember the POLL TAX ?

Watched it all going to hell in a handbasket... Bliar was the end...

Oh, well...

Only things I miss are coal fires in the winter, proper 'Indian' food (actually normally made by Bangladeshis) and listening to the British routinely expressing their surprise at the fact that it was raining again !
(And, anti-British is not correct. ANTI-ENGLISH hits the gold!)

btw, perhaps the prob with Texas Thunder is an excess of beans in his chilli...
If he could moderate his intake he may improve. Then we could help him re-register here as...
(Wait for it, Carruthers !)

Texas pfffft

He may even tell us what version of LW he is actually using, eh ?

Is this suitable for entry in the coveted Most Off-Topic Reply of the Week Competition ?

Ursula

It is unfair to call me a "yobbo", I'm too old for that sort of nonsense (and I only watch the World or European Cup matches). And yes, I remember the Poll Tax, which I did not support. Governments will do dumb things.

Still, being anti-British or anti-English seems to condemn us all which is totally unfair.

So I shall depart this conversation with "live and let live".

Yours, with no ill feelings

UK Bob
