Last night while I was downloading some files Limewire just shut down. Now when I go to start the program the initial screen comes up ( Not the GUI ), the one that says its loading the interface etc. etc. and then it just disapears.

Also when I go to open my Limewire folder ( the one that has my shared files in it ) my Windows Explorer shuts down and restarts. I've open just about every other folder to on that drive and there is no problems. Just with my Limewire folder.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be here?

You could try deleting your preferences folder...

Further to Dan's suggestion, I would also run an anti-virus app to see if you picked up something you should not have.

There's a corruption in one of the files you have recently downloaded...Do you recall what it could be ?? If so go to your computer's search and enter the tilte, when it appears delete it...
