I had Limewire on my system. It was working fine. System was slowing a bit, so I installed RegCure. Now when ever I try to use limewire I get the following error.

Running windows 98se. I have uninstalled limewire, reinstalled. NOT WORKING!!! Any suggestions for a pc dummy?

No, looks like the regcure program has done damage. There are safer registry cleaners out there. Normally if LW slows down it's due to your drives needing defragging or else, Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue! (click on blue link). Or if over 3,000 shares then remove some.
