Hardrive Crash - Lost Music Library

I'm hoping someone can help me. Recently, my harddrive crashed and I lost ALL of my data including my downloaded music from LimeWire (over 1500 songs)! I now have a new harddrive but I have to rebuild every thing from scratch. Is there ANY way LimeWire archieves personal user libraries that can be retrieved or restored in the case of a harddrive crash? Thank you in advance.

Retrieving data from a hard drive crash has to be done by specialists and so is an expensive endeavour.

For data to be retrieved from a dead hard drive the drive has to be taken apart and each platter (of which there are about 5) has to be examined, for viability, and the data carefully extracted. Then of the data that has been recovered it has to be carefully reconstructed and burned onto a CD or DVD.

If you are determine to go down this route note that it will cost you several hundred dollars/pounds (or whatever currency your part of the world uses). You can do a google and find out which company near you can perform this service.

About six or so years ago, I lost a hard disk to an irrecoverable hard disk crash. I wanted to recover my emails and other important documents, however I was quoted a cost of £300.00 to recover my data. I concluded that it would be better for me to reconstruct as much data as possible from memory and other sources rather than pay this exorbitantly high price.
