I recently downloaded the Limewire basic. I needed something on it and now nolonger need it. When I went to unistall it. It began having this error popup saying I have unistalled it wrong or startup is incorrect. How do I get rid of that? Can anyone help me?

It sounds like a virus. Was limewire starting on it's own before you uninstalled it?

You can also try downloading AVG(free), update it, and scan your computer: AVG Free Advisor: AVG Anti-Virus Free. We've had luck with it cleaning some other viruses.

If that's not it, try reinstalling LW and then uninstall it by going to C:/Program Files/LimeWire/uninstall.exe. Don't use the Add or Remove Programs Control Panel.
