![]() I can find nothing in ANY of the FAQ's or documentation the confirms or denies the existence of any method of doing any kind of search, other than a single word. Is there *any* way to do either a boolean or even a phrase search (like "search information" or "chocolate cake")??? Thanks! -- Rob -- |

![]() I think why there isn't any documentation about this is each servent vendor (LimeWire, Bearshare, etc.) can match queries in whatever way it sees fit, although I imagine there is some sort of standard that most servents follow. I don't know what that would be. |

![]() spaces count as AND . So if you want "Chocolate Cake" Just type in "Chocolate Cake" And LW will see it as : "ChocolateANDCake" Thus the search turns up eveything containg both "Chocolate" and "Cake" But don't type in the AND command and thelike itself ! LW does not support them . If you type in "ChocolateANDCake" , LW will literally search for "ChocolateANDCake" (1 long word) Last edited by VTOLfreak; January 25th, 2002 at 07:32 PM. |
