ugh..please help!! (error: unable to set up port)
 

Okay, so this is SO freakin' frustrating.

I used to have the old LW, and it worked fine.
I don't even know why I downloaded the new version..but I did.
At first it wouldn't work..AT ALL. So today, after about 2 weeks,
I re-downloaded LW, and it worked =) It had all of my old songs,
and my skin.
BUT--

Now I can't search for songs.
It gives me that whole Make sure that this is official.. lalalala.
So I clicked the more info link about Trojan Viruses & what not..
and even re-downloaded it again.

still, I can't search for songs.
sometime this little box comes on the screen that says,
"Limewire was unable to set a port to listen for incoming connections.
Some features may not work as expected."

ughhhh. What do I do?

I know it has nothing to do with Java, so I don;t even know
where to start?

Help me?

If you weren't using Pro then this is something that another member has found that works. He went back to the version he had befoe he updated. See link below. I am not promoting this but if it works so be it. I DON"T AGREE with the way Limewire has delt with this new upgrade. A lot of people have been dupped by this, thus the reason I'm giving you this Link.

Also DON'T Buy Pro if you can't get the Free Basic version to work. :PEACE:
