One last point -- we did not try to somehow slip LimeShop in there because it's written in Java. We had no control nor interest in the language it was written in. In short, we're not evil people, I promise! |

LW developers/Adam, the main issue with free limewire, currently, seems to be TopMoxie (limeshop). Can you answer the concern that TopMoxie is fraudulently acquiring revenue for Limewire by means of false referrals? I realize that other companies/non-profits use TopMoxie, that isn't my question. In detail: If I go to amazon.com (for example), of my own accord, TopMoxie redirects my url to make it seem like I was referred there by limewire. Limewire then gets a percentage of the money I spend. Is that not stealing from amazon.com? If I was visiting ebay.com and clicked their amazon.com banner, ebay would not get the referral, limewire would. Is that not stealing from ebay.com? |

Hey you actually know if you steal data from some goverments sources, they will go after you right? I didn't see an abuse just like that whole my life but its another thing that I still admire what you did on Java 2 platform. Let me say.... Sell limewire to P3+ CPU guys, let them enable their CPUID to run it, send a customized limewire (paid version) crypted so only their CPU can run it. You ask "how to survive w/o money"? er, Gnucleus is going well I see. If I see "Coca Cola" logo when running it, it wouldn't bother me at all. But you play IT mafia, some real mafia would catch you in anytime. like goverments. Don't steal INFO from users, its just too dangerous for some. Quote:

Ahem, giving Java a bad name, no, people will start BLOCKING Java internet access because of the SPYWARE you coded, its bad for Java. Oh, I am NOT hiding in an anonymous nick, I can be contacted anytime if you want. I can't just believe there are people like you, developers selling everything we trusted to happen. Man, you are just for money, why don't you do anything else? like spying peoples bedrooms, goverment? Its the thing you do, and one day you will really mess into something. So, people, using worlds most advanced interpereted language doesn't know what did Cydoor did? Or its program? hey man, don't you have a f-prot there? a single antivirus program even? WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE , END USERS ARE FOOLS? get a life man as I said, if you want to contact me, I am always here, just not trusting to post my mail or home address here, just request info, I send you. I am away from those gnutella protocol thing since I have enough money to buy Cds or DvDs but.... I wanted to test my quick hack (heh error 1608) would help or not, yes it did. What I had is Spyware, damn multiplatform spyware. Oh since you turned to be programming bitches, NOBODY respects you anymore, including the Unix guys... Here is your answer.... |

Ok folks. This thread has gotten a bit incomprehensible and counterproductive. I have no idea who "Mike the Llama" is, and I don't think I want to. We are the most evil developers that ever lived!! You should see the experiments we do to our users in our office!! Sick I tell you, it's sick. Sorry guys, thread closed. |
