Check to see if you can start your computer using only command prompt and not starting Vista at all. The main reason for files not deleting is that there are Windows processes connected with it. Using command prompt (this is for DOS but should be the same commands) MS-DOS help and commands The del commands are the ones you are looking for. E.g. navigate to your user and delete the incomplete folder - deltree incomplete |

This has just got serious, my laptop's battery is of dodgy, it needs sorting out, i'd take it to my dads house when i go down for him to sort out but with the file, i can't, i need serious help, maybe i could use the feature to back track the laptop, but i don't know where it is, please, i realy need help now |

2 pieces of advice: if you were using a dual boot machine (you know, with 2 separate OS's on it) you could remotely delete it from the other OS.. try this, move the file into its own special folder, then using safe mode delete the folder
