I have a nephew (12yo) who has been using my PC on limewire and he has downloaded a load of porn including child porn!

My question is :-

1) how can I limit what he can download?
2) who do I report this crap to ?
3) is it possibletostop this type of **** showing up on my PC again?

1. If he knows computers you can't do anything except refuse him use of a computer.

2. I would suggest not to, especially if he intentionally downloaded it. It can have dire consequenses.

3. Refuse him access to the computer. Because even if you prevent him from using Limewire, he can just download something else and get the same things.


There are a lot of sickos in the world and unfortunately some of them share their filth on the Gnutella network.

I tried to get an answer from Limewire as to its intentions re sites alleging to be a music downloads, but were actually porn. I did not get any help or support. So, do as I did dump Limewire, there are lots of other sites.

Limewire cannot control the content on the gnutella network in any way. It's just a gateway that connects to the network.
