I just purchased a dell 1420 about a week ago, i turn it on customize my settings and then download limewire. Limewire connected right away with no problem what so ever, i didn't have to change a single setting. Soon after i had to reimage the computer using the dell reimage software already installed on the computer. Since then limewire, ares, bearshare all do not connect. Any ideas? I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, diabled the firewall, made sure the connection was private, disabled antivirus, and about everything else i have read in the forums but no luck. there are two other computers used on the network and they work fine so i don't think it is the ISP. There has to be a way to check your P2P settings on the computer because i doubt that all three applications are not working properly. Please help, ive spent too much time trying to fix this.
