A SPAM popup has taken over LimeWire.com Hi, a SPAM advert for a credit card has taken over your website. The only way I can get through to LimeWire.com is using Opera 5, turning off JavaScript, turning off automatic refering, and turning off cookies. Then I get LimeWire.com's index.html. For your reference, the credit card URL is: http://205.180.85.40/novus/discover.html The advert URL that sends my browser into the inescapable popup ad seems to be: http://media7.fastclick.net/w/safepop.cgi?mid=7831&sid=6528&id=72545&u=http%3A%2 F%2Fwww.limewire.com%2F&c=45&top=312&left=440&pop= slider Frankly, I think this is going WAY TOO FAR. What, are these people nuts, do they really think I or anybody's going to even click on their advert, let alone make a purchase, from somebody who treats their surfing experience in such a rude way? No way. -Walker |
