Runaway Downloads
 

Newbie here,

My shared folder is downloading files by its self!!

It's up to 40,000 and still going.

How do I stop it?:yikes:

Sounds like you may have become infected. Try this

AVG(free) might be able to fix it. Be sure to update it before you scan your computer: AVG Free Advisor: AVG Anti-Virus Free, then follow the prompts.

Once AVG has fixed the Problem you can delete it if you want to. AVG seems to catch problems other AV's don't catch.

Wow, what a great program that is. I downloaded it and let it process overnight. :whistling:

When I got up this morning, it had found 9 trojans and other junk. I had it remove them and it is like new again.:xirokrotima:
