what does the colum "Hits" mean in limewire

when your using limewire and you have clicked on the library tab you see a many columns. The first four say name size type path etc.. well one of the columns says "Hits". What does this mean, is the amount of times people have searched for and found your song?

Hits shows the number of times that the file's appeared as a search result. This kind of info's in the user guide.

If your files show up in someone's search results, it doesn't mean that the person was searching for your files. The names of your files might be similar to what people are searching for & so they show up in search results.

Say you had a file called 'woopeedoo'. If people are searching for a file called 'woopee' or 'woopeeblah'...your file will probably show up in their search results even though they weren't looking for that file.
