Does anyone use...(WinAmp) -> unable to put music onto my iPod WinAmp instead of iTunes? My dad hates it and doesn't want it on his computer, so... I'm not allowed to have it. ((sigh)) I'm unable to put music I've gotten off LW onto my iPod. Thanks for reading even if you can't help me. |

I believe WinAmp has a special plug-in to enable support for iPod. You will need to go to their site to look for extra plug-ins (click on link). Difference between iTunes & WinAmp is iTunes keeps its own music library, WinAmp does not. |

oh .. I googled & found this comment: Since version 5.2, Winamp has had iPod support built in. Also, it supports almost all other portable media players. I also found this page: ml_ipod: Your iPod just became useful. |
