![]() From adaware forums: Posted: Feb. 18 2002,16:14 Hello, I installed LimeWire 2.1.3 & used the instructions at the link patrick posted & noticed that it only removed javarun's registry entry calling it to run every time windows is started. The complete directory tree/files remain on the HD. The LimeShop uninstall apparently uses the following registry key to determine where topMoxie is located: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LimeShop: Install_Dir - "C:\Program Files\topMoxie" However, to their credit, upon launching LimeWire after removing LimeShop, javarun was not launched, nor was it re-entered into the registry to load on startup. A quick right-click on the topMoxie folder & a Shift+Delete was all that was need after that (well, in addition to removing the above-mentioned reg key)! |

![]() http://groups.google.com/groups?q=to...sri.com&rnum=4 Check that post, Topmoxie is a total spyware. I don't know how much this post will last but be ALERTED don't give javarun.exe rights to connect to Internet, it has NOTHING to do with Limewire. Shame on people who includes it. |
