Default Burning audio cd's/Mp3 files

I am trying to burn an audio cd so that I can play it in my car. I do not have an Mp3 player in my car. Is there a way to convert these files so that they can play on my non Mp3 players?

Yes, most CD burning programs will convert the mp3 files to audio CD format during the burning process. Recommended is burning at minimum speed possible. Use a good brand CD-R (do not use CD-RW), if possible choose a slow speed CD-R (not 40 speed or faster) as many CD players do not like the high speed type disks or a CD-R being burnt at high speeds.

When you burn the CD, choose Audio CD format. There should be such an option in your burner program. Data format disks will not play in CD players.

convert them to WAV. format and burn them to a cd-r make sure the disc is closed when your done this locks it to where you cant add more files to the disk but allows a cd player to read the disk. a good free converter is called CDEX you can get it at cnet for free . when you convert them it makes the mp3 format five times bigger on average so a 5 meg ends up being a 25 to 35meg Wav. and i get like 10 to 15 songs per cd useing Sonic disk creator....some newer disk burners format the mp3s into wav.s without having to do it manualy my new laptop has a new tss corp cd and dvr burner and its program does all that without lifting a finger just tell the program what u want and it does it all automatic but my desktop pc i have to doit as described above...hope this helps
