Default Limewire Setup Wizard (buttons show, but can't click on them)

Hey there everyone,if you dont know me im AJComB,just call me Aj and i just registered a few seconds ago.Well,my problem is...when i run my limewire (4.18.6 version) i first end up at the Limewire setup wizard for saving and sharing folders, but for some reason i CAN see all the buttons which has been an issue for some in the pass to where that they couldn't and all they had to do was drag down or aside the window until the "next" button appeared or which ever button...for me, all the buttons appear, but i am unable to click on any of them which i fail to pass the setup,i have the right java files installed(positively!) i've reinstalled java quite a few times as well as i did with limewire,i've done offline installations, disk defragment, file repair, basicly i did everything that know that might've helped. So if anyone has any ideas that come up,please reply as soon as u can, thanks.Or if you prefer email, send message to **EDIT**

To The Gnutella Forums AJ and Please Read The Forum Rules.

Try this. Many members have had luck with this suggestion.

setup freezes

If this doesn't solve the Issue, then you might try an Older Version. Many members appear to be having alot of Problems with the Later Versions.

I will suggest you use an older version that has proved to be the most stable versions ever. 4.12.6. or 4.12.3

OldVersion - Newer isn't always better ! Or

Install this OFFLINE installer version of LW: http://www9.limewire.com/download/LimeWireWin-full.exe

Hope one of these suggestions Help.

Hmmm...

I would just start from scratch. Not sure what OS you are using, so if XP then go to Start > All Programs > LW > Uninstall.

Now once uninstalled, go back to Start > Search > type in limewire and search All Files and Folders.

Now if search finds anything LW related Delete Everything that It finds. Now Download Crap Cleaner which will clean your Registry and also clean a ton of Junk from your system.

Now Remove All Java versions installed (via Add/Remove Programs) before you install the latest Version. (Download the JRE Offline Installer)
Java SE Downloads Fifth one down.

Once you have installed the Latest Version of Java, Now you can Download Limewire fresh and clean.
