Most such sites are in breach of copyright. And yes, when LW.org do find them out they put the information into the hands of their legal people. As for people who share pro across the gnutella network, well I discussed this with one of the LW developers some years ago. He agreed it is possible to stop this happening with coding within LW, however they didn't think it was worth implementing. |

Well if the Good ol' Boys from Limewire had kept the Members in mind instead of trying to figure out the quickest way to make Millions, I might be a little more sympathetic. Whats the old adage "You Reap what You Sow". I for one know that I will NEVER Pay for another Pro Version again. Whats the Difference between downloading a Pirated version of LW Pro and Illegal Copyrighted Material. Nothing, so why do you really care ?? |

Well for a start, piracy talk is against the forum rules. Secondly, whilst LW is now bigger than it used to be, it was not a big company some years ago. Keep in mind they are paying huge amounts in legal fees nowadays with on going legal cases. My Pro is not pirated. And besides, there's been reports over the years of so called sharing of pro versions that have been either virus infected or spyware adapted. |
