m3u are playlist files, are you trying to save files from within your LW library?

Find your saved folder instead. In LW's library, click on Saved Files. Highlight a file & click Explore...your saved folder should open. Try moving/saving files from that folder.

When I save a mp3 song from limewire and save it and I then try to get from my computer into a web page it keeps adding the m3u to it somewhere. what am I doing wrong? Has anyone done this before?

Did you try moving the file from your saved folder?

If you just go to your Saved Files within LW's library & click Explore - the saved folder should open up & you won't need to browse

If none are working, it's probably due to firewalls or modem/router internal security or else, your ISP blocking p2p file sharing.
One thing I can tell you is that using AOL can be problematic when trying to use p2p sharing programs.

Try using Vuze and in option check "enable lazy bitfield" and also require encryption RC4.

These can be found under Tools->Options-> Transfer (lazy bitfield) and Tools-> Options-> Conection -> Transport Encryption (Encryption)

If that doesn't work, then either your port for Vuze is blocked (this can be checked under Tools->NAT/Firewall test) or your ISP is using effective measures to block BitTorrent traffic.
