how to make a file available on LW

i want to make a pretty large file available a friend on lw..how do i do that?

I don't think there is any way to insure that you and your friend are able to connect to the same server. But if you have the file in your shared folder (you can see what folder that is in your library) it will be available for anyone to search and download.

So even if i give the file an unusual name they might not be able to find the file?

No, only if they are connected to the same server as you are, and there is no way to choose what server you connect to. Everyone on LW is not connected to the same server, there are many. To get the file to someone in particular, it may be easier to burn it to disc or use a flash drive to copy it to their computer.
