downloaded mp3 won't play because of .lnk

I download mp3 files and then when I go to play them they won't play. I have checked files and it says somehthing to do with a .lnk file. I have used limewire for awhile and this is happening all of the sudden

I have windows vista home premium

Any help is appreciated.
