I just updated new new version. I purchased Limewire pro a few months ago and now It is gone. I tried to download it but when I put in my email addy it says it does not recognize it.

I got the same message after trying every email address I've ever had. I'm needing to reinstall the Pro version because my hard drive crashed last weekend and I lost everything.

Anyone know what going on???

Did you buy Pro for a year or 6 months? Your email address will only be recognised in the official database while your Pro's current - if you bought Pro for 6 months, your email address stays in the database for 6 months, if you bought Pro for a year then your email address stays in the database for a year. After that, your email address is removed from the database & you can't download free updates any more.

If you paid a scam site for Pro then you won't ever be able to update from the official site.

After you buy Pro from the official site, you recieve an email from LW with a link to your Pro personal download page. Have a look through your emails & see if you can find it. Providing your Pro's not out of date, that link is what you use to download another Pro

Yes, you'll get an email around a month before your Pro benefits are due to expire.

the transaction wnet thru clickbank and ended up not being the official limewire site. even though i clicked from the official limewire software for some reason I got routed to a site that looked like an official limewire site.

Ok I bought mine through official site. My laptop crashed. I have a new one. I keep putting in my email address and I also have a confirmation number P84CC5007451. I want what I paid for so what do I do

Depends on when you Purchased your Pro Version. A subscription is only good for either 6 mnths or 12 mnths, depending on which option you purchased. If the subscription expires, your e-mail address is deleted from their database.
