Default Full connection, no results, no downloads...

Ok, so Limewire says I have full connection, no firewall blocking it, Ive turned off anything that would interfere with it, and tried everything.
Yet, no search results, all previous downloads stalled, and no uploads.
Any ideas? Please?
Thank you in advance

Sounds like your ISP interfering. Who's your ISP?

I was here weeks ago and have tried several times uninstalling and reinstalling limewire since I won my computer (which worked perfectly fine on the old one)...and the firewall is fine, everything is fine...except the copywrite pops up, every single song, on every single one...that has never happened before. What am I doing wrong? I just want to be able to listen to my music....etc.

I forgot to add, would it have anything to do with the fact that I have wireless internet and therefore a wireless router?

You use CARPHONE WAREHOUSE BROADBAND SERVICES which handles AOL in certain parts of the UK. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/gettin...-problems.html So unfortunately that particular service started blocking/shaping p2p use last year. That's the sacrifice for using AOL, you never know exactly which ISP you are really going through. If you wish to change ISP, I'd highly recommend doing research to find those that are not p2p unfriendly as many ISPs in UK now are owned by multinational companies who have expanded into the UK (they still retain their older business name). An example of such a multinational company (anti p2p sharing) is Tiscali.

I can't switch, just signed a new contract with them
Is it possible that if I shout at them they'd let me download?

I have no idea who the parent company of Carphone warehouse is, if indeed they have one, but this is obviously a new policy they brought in last year. This problem has affected many others. It's worth shouting at them! But I doubt they will change.
